Includes travel to the property and documentation of accessible systems eligible under the membership program. Xpertecs verifies HVAC filter sizes, confirms water softener type, and documents applicable equipment models and configurations.

Following documentation, Xpertecs will top off the water softener with up to four bags of salt at no additional charge. If the customer has air filters readily available on the initial visit, the technician can replace them as well. On all subsequent scheduled visits, Xpertecs will provide and replace the filter — due to the wide variety of filter sizes and configurations, we may not know the exact specification until after the initial setup is complete.

If required materials are not immediately available at the time of the initial visit, Xpertecs may obtain them locally and complete the service the same day or at the earliest available opportunity.

Note: Documentation covers accessible systems only. Additional setup fees may apply for homes over 3,000 sq ft or properties with non-standard equipment.

Provides and replaces up to two standard residential HVAC return air filters per quarterly visit. Filters are included in the plan price.

Maximum filter thickness: 2 inches
Minimum filter rating: MERV 11
Covers standard return air locations only

Exclusions: Specialty filters, media cabinets, electronic air cleaners, or custom configurations may require additional charges. More than 2 filters per visit billed separately.

Tops off water softener with up to four bags of salt (approximately 160 lbs.) per quarterly visit. Salt is included in the plan price. "Topping off" means filling to approximately 80% capacity — this allows for proper breathing room and helps prevent salt bridging.

Provides either "Yellow Bag" Salt Pellets or "Blue Bag" Salt Crystals
Potassium Chloride Crystal Cubes are NOT included — requires the Potassium Upgrade add-on
Additional salt beyond 4 bags billed at $15 per bag

Up to 3 smoke detector batteries per scheduled visit. Client provides replacement batteries.

Exclusions: Detector replacement, rewiring, system upgrades, troubleshooting of interconnected systems, or hardwired units without battery backup. Does not include carbon monoxide detector servicing unless they are combination units with battery backup accessible within scope.

Replaces one refrigerator water filter every six months. Filter cost is included in the plan price.

May use manufacturer-original or compatible third-party equivalent filters

All annual checks are limited-scope, non-invasive reviews consisting primarily of visual observation and random sampling of accessible components. These checks are NOT full inspections, certifications, warranties, or guarantees of system condition or future performance.

Electrical: Visual review of accessible electrical components including the main panel and a random sampling of outlets and protective devices. Intended to identify obvious signs of overheating, corrosion, loose conductors, or visible irregularities. GFCI and AFCI devices may be tested on a limited basis where accessible. Does not include load calculations, full-system testing, concealed wiring evaluation, or code compliance review.
WiFi & Networking: General review and random sampling of accessible networking equipment. Router placement, visible cabling, and basic connectivity may be reviewed. A speed test may be performed at the time of service to evaluate general performance. Does not include rewiring, hardware upgrades, advanced configuration, cybersecurity auditing, or guaranteed performance outcomes.
Plumbing: Visual review and limited random sampling of accessible plumbing components to identify obvious signs of leakage, corrosion, or deterioration. May include visible supply lines, fixture connections, exposed drain piping, toilets, and accessible water heater connections. Does not include irrigation systems, drain cleaning, concealed piping evaluation, camera inspections, or invasive testing.
Gas: Visual review and limited random sampling of accessible gas piping and appliance connections. Exposed fittings may be checked using a soap solution or electronic leak detector where accessible. Does not include pressure testing, underground line testing, appliance disassembly, or concealed gas piping evaluation.

Important: Annual checks are advisory in nature and do not cover concealed components. Any repairs identified are quoted separately at standard Xpertecs service rates. Xpertecs shall not be held responsible for system failures or conditions not observed during the limited scope of service.

Cleans up to four standard residential pool filter cartridges every six months using a pressure wash process.

Covers standard cartridge filtration systems (up to 4 cartridges)
Sand filter systems: backwash service can be substituted
DE (Diatomaceous Earth) systems require the DE Filter Upgrade add-on

Exclusions: Oversized or commercial systems may require additional charges. Chemical cleaning agents are not included unless specified. Filter replacement (worn or damaged cartridges) is billed separately.

Visual review of accessible pool equipment at the equipment pad. Covers pump, filter housing, visible plumbing connections, and accessible electrical at the pad.

Exclusions: Chemical balancing, major mechanical repairs, performance guarantees, underground plumbing, or automation systems. This is an advisory visual check only.

Available Add-On Services

Adds coverage for one additional HVAC return air filter during each quarterly visit, beyond the standard two-filter allotment included in all plans. Same material standards and size restrictions apply as the base HVAC air filter service.

Covers annual replacement of a 3-stage whole home water filtration system. Replacement filters are provided by Xpertecs. Covers one whole home filtration system per enrollment.

Covers annual replacement of multi-stage reverse osmosis filtration system filters. Replacement filters are provided by Xpertecs. Covers one RO system per enrollment.

Allows customers with water softeners to upgrade from standard salt to potassium chloride during quarterly refills. Potassium Chloride Crystal Cubes are provided by Xpertecs in place of standard salt. Potassium chloride is not interchangeable with standard salt — when this add-on is active, potassium is used as the full replacement for the quarterly service.

Xpertecs will exercise the main water shutoff valve and up to 14 other accessible fixture shutoff valves once per year to help prevent seizing and ensure valves operate properly in the event of a plumbing emergency.

Note: Covers accessible valves only. See "Testing & Mechanical Components" in Key Terms for important information regarding aged or previously compromised valves.

Annual cleaning of accessible refrigerator condenser coils to remove dust buildup that can reduce cooling efficiency and cause the appliance to work harder than necessary.

Note: The refrigerator must be able to move freely without significant effort to reach the condenser coils. If the unit cannot be safely repositioned, the service may be deferred at technician discretion.

Annual cleaning of up to three accessible residential exhaust fans (such as bathroom ventilation fans) to remove dust buildup and improve airflow.

Fans must be accessible and within 10 feet of finished floor
Additional fans beyond three: $1/month per fan added to the monthly add-on rate

Biannual garbage disposal maintenance consisting of a visual inspection for leaks, verification of accessible connections, a functional grinding test, and application of a cleaning treatment to help remove buildup and reduce odors.

Biannual dishwasher cleaning using a dishwasher treatment designed to help remove mineral deposits, grease residue, and odor-causing buildup to maintain appliance performance.

Annual descaling and cleaning of one residential coffee maker to help remove mineral buildup and maintain proper operation. Covers one unit per enrollment.

One professional dryer vent cleaning per year to remove lint buildup and improve airflow. Xpertecs does not climb the roof for dryer vent cleanings.

Note: Complex dryer vent configurations may not be serviceable under this add-on. If the dryer must be moved to access the vent connection, the customer may be required to move or replace the dryer prior to the service appointment.

Annual visual inspection of the home's surge protection device to verify indicator lights and basic operational status.

Note: A whole home surge protection device must already be installed. If one is not present, Xpertecs can provide a separate installation quote.

Annual enzyme treatment for up to 8 household drains (such as bathroom sinks, showers, and kitchen sinks). Xpertecs uses a natural enzyme-based solution designed to help break down organic materials and oils while cleaning drain interior surfaces to help reduce buildup and maintain proper flow.

Note: The solution may produce a noticeable citrus and sage scent during application that may take a day or two to dissipate. The solution is safe for adults, children, and pets.

Biannual inspection and cleaning of saltwater pool chlorinator cells to maintain performance and extend cell life. Platinum Plan membership required.

Biannual testing of pool salinity levels and addition of pool salt as needed to maintain proper operating range for saltwater chlorination systems. Pool salt is provided by Xpertecs. Platinum Plan membership required.

Adds DE (diatomaceous earth) powder replacement service during biannual pool filter maintenance visits. Must be combined with the standard pool filter cleaning service. Platinum Plan membership required.

Simple, straightforward terms designed to protect both you and our technicians.

Property Size

Plans cover properties up to 3,000 sq ft. Larger homes may be subject to additional fees based on scope.

Height Limitation

No work performed above 10 feet from the finished floor. Ladder access beyond this height is outside plan scope.

Scheduled Lifecycle

Services are performed on a quarterly lifecycle schedule. Services cannot be swapped between quarters or deferred to a different cycle.

No Emergency Priority

Care Plan membership does not guarantee emergency or priority service scheduling. Emergency calls are dispatched separately.

Cancel Anytime

No long-term contract. Cancel anytime with no penalty. No refunds are issued on prior billing periods already processed.

$59 Missed Visit Fee

If a technician arrives and the service cannot be performed (no access, unsafe conditions, etc.), a $59 fee applies. Rescheduling requires 24 hours advance notice.

Pricing Adjustments

Plan pricing may be adjusted to reflect material or fuel cost increases. Customers receive a minimum of one full billing cycle notice before any price change takes effect.

Licensed Professionals

All services performed by licensed technicians. Arizona ROC #308518, #339529, #341079 & #342792. Work is within licensed scope — plan visits are not inspections or certifications.

Right to Refuse Service

Xpertecs reserves the right to cancel or refuse service due to abuse or misuse of the membership program, unsafe or hostile behavior toward technicians, unsafe conditions, or repeated missed appointments. Cancellation under these circumstances results in termination of membership benefits without refund.

Non-Transferability

Membership benefits apply only to the enrolled property address and are not transferable to another property or owner.

Technician Discretion

Xpertecs reserves the right to decline or defer any task deemed unsafe, impractical, or outside the scope of the membership program at the sole discretion of the attending technician.

Pre-Existing Conditions

All services are performed based on observable conditions at the time of service. Xpertecs is not responsible for hidden defects, concealed conditions, or failures that were not visible or accessible during the visit.

Testing & Mechanical Components

During service, Xpertecs may operate or test components such as shutoff valves, switches, breakers, and fixtures. These components may be aged, corroded, or previously compromised. By enrolling, the customer acknowledges that failures of aged or defective components may occur during normal testing or operation. Xpertecs shall not be held responsible for pre-existing conditions that result in component failure. Any required repairs will be quoted separately.

Limited Access Areas

Services do not include entry into attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, confined spaces, or unsafe environments. All service areas must be readily accessible and free of obstruction. Xpertecs will not move personal property or stored items to access equipment. Services may be skipped at technician discretion if adequate access is unavailable.
